What is Phone Friend?
PhoneFriend is a combination of designer glasses and a protective case that attaches to your mobile phone. The glasses are stored in a hinged housing providing you with easy access whenever you need them.
How does PhoneFriend attach to my Phone?
PhoneFriend uses a 3M adhesive patch that locks our case and glasses onto your phone. To install, first remove the transparent film from the adhesive patch, align your phone with the red locator strip and press firmly to adhere.
Will the PhoneFriend case fit on all phones?
PhoneFriend will fit on the majority of phones and phone cases.
Can I buy replacement glasses or additional strengths?
Yes you can! We provide a variety of strengths sold separately from our case. You can find them here.
What is reading glasses strength?
The numbers between +1 to +3.5 represent the corrective strength of reading glasses. These units are called "Diopters". They are used to differentiate weaker and stronger corrective powers.
Someone who requires strong vision correction would most likely need reading glasses with a strength of around +3, while someone who only requires mild vision correction will most likely need reading glasses with a strength of +1.5.
Are PhoneFriend reading glasses comfortable?
PhoneFriend reading glasses are extremely comfortable and lightweight therefore you can hardly feel them sitting on your nose.
What is the strongest number PhoneFriend reading glasses?
The highest strength we sell is +3.5.
How do you know what strength reading glasses to buy?
An eye chart can be used to determine what strength reading glasses to buy. Rather than relying on trial-and-error, it's best to use a diopter chart to perform your at-home eye test. All you have to do is print any eye chart and hold it at arm's length away from you. Look to see what line has the smallest print you can read without straining.
What is the strongest number reading glasses you can buy?
The strongest number for reading glasses are +4 diopters. Reading glasses with strengths higher than 4 are rarely manufactured. Magnification levels ranging from +4 to +7 are designed for those who have macular degeneration and severe vision issues.
